Before you proceed to apply for RC renewal, make sure to keep the following documents handy for a hassle-free application –
• PUC or Pollution under Control Certificate issued from the government-backed PUC Centre.
• Original Registration Certificate smart card.
• One copy of the PAN card or Form 60 or 61, whichever is required.
• Pencil print of engine and chassis of the vehicle whose registration requires renewal.
• A duly filled Form 25.
• Document with an owner’s signature and an insurance policy certificate of the car.
• Vehicle’s fitness certificate.
• Statement proof for up-to-date road tax payment.
