The traffic challan can be paid either online or offline. Each state in India has a separate website dedicated to transport. To make an online payment for traffic challan, you can either visit the state transport website or pay through official website of E-challan – Digital Traffic/Transport Enforcement Solution.
Steps to Pay Traffic Challan on e-challan Official Website:
• Step 1: Visit echallan.parivahan.gov or Telangana police E-challan webportal
• Step 2: Select ‘Check Challan Status’ from the drop-down menu under ‘Check Online Services’.
• Step 3: Enter the required details and captcha.
• Step 4: Click on ‘Get Detail’.
• Step 5: Click on ‘Pay Now’ option.
• Step 6: Choose the mode of payment to pay challan fine.
• Step 7: After completing the payment, you will receive a transaction ID, note it down for future reference.
Steps to pay Traffic Challan on the State Transport Website:
• Step 1: Visit your State’s official transport website.
• Step 2: You will find a section dedicated to pay violation fines.
• Step 3: You will be allowed to choose if you want to pay violation notices, parking charges, or spot fines, or any other charges.
• Step 4: Choose on the appropriate link and you will be asked to enter certain details depending on the type of traffic violation.
• Step 5: Generally, you will be asked to enter your new vehicle registration number, old registration number, or you’re parking violation tag number (If you know).
• Step 6: Enter the details and the current outstanding amount.
• Step 7: You will be allowed to make the payment using your Master or Visa Card.
• Step 8: Do not forget to enter the Captcha in the space provided and before clicking on ‘Submit’.
• Step 9: You will be redirected to a safe page to make your payment.
